A simple tripod question

Posted 30/01/2022 - 15:47 Link
Having developed an interest in photographing birds in their local habitat, I've been mulling over an additional tripod to the one I've been using, (image attached). (The bamboo is beginning to rot and the string frays and continually comes undone.) I want to upgrade and am wondering if anyone knows of a carbon fibre version?

As you can tell, I like hi-tech...

Any thoughts?
