Anyway, about this model shoot......I may be interested, I have a friend who also might be interested - he uses a.. er...Sony A900 (but he's also got a Pentax K10D)

Damn! Chester would be easy for me on the 24th as we have a few days booked on the Wirral, Unfortunately I don't think my wife would appreciate me galavanting off, especially as my snapping will already have dominated most of the week.
I wonder if I could get away with accidentally bumping into you guys

According to the mighty Wikipedia: 'Modal is a cellulose fiber made by spinning reconstituted cellulose, often from beech trees. It is about 50% more hygroscopic (water-absorbent) per unit volume than cotton. It takes dye like cotton and is color-fast when washed in warm water. Modal is a kind of rayon.'
Sounds quite possible to photograph. Might even get some interesting results with a Macro Lens.

The studio is near Chester 3 miles a way and the dead line is the 18th march.
I can only have 15 and up to now we have 9 so still room. The shoot will have 3 models and 2 sets (white backing,) and a (dark backing!)
Lighting will be there but it would be a good idea if you bring your own flashes.
I will put tea and coffee on! And we can take a break for dinner. When the shoot is over we can go on location with the models.
I am hoping that every one who comes has a lot of fun and enjoys the day, im going to video all of the shoot, and if anyone wants the DVD its free just a little gift of the day.
I WILL UPDATE YOU ALL VERY SOON
