It is quite different from your previous shots that you have shared.
And I would say, its refreshing in a way
I like the colors and shadow patterns.
But I am not able to conclude anything about the lens with this pic. I just believe you And hope that once I will get a lens of that class too.

Interesting shot Pauly! I find the blown out circle a bit distracting, but I love the shadows. To me it suggests coils of barbed wire atop a prison wall.

Wow, I didn't expect to get this reaction from you guys.
I thought I was getting ignored and disliked on this forum, thats why I stopped posting here.
At the start this photo went down the postings and onto the next page, without a reaction at all, so I thought - oh well.

Sometimes that just happens Pauly. I was very glad to see you posting again. Was beginning to think something terrible had happened to you (such as defecting to C@non) and even checked your website to make sure.

Pentaxophile, i'm more than happy with Pentax. I've just recently purchased they're DA 21mm and 35mm prime lenses and i'm loving the quality of 'em compared to a zoom.
Aiki, the 50mm F1.7 is a class lens, it goes without saying, seriously.
I bought mine off Ebay, and it feels brand new. I'm sure its been overhauled(?). No scratches, fungus or hazing and everything is pristine and dampened beautifully.
Just look at it, its effectively a 75mm lens and I shot it handheld at 1/15 sec., and the image is sharp with no camera shake, I think that gives this lens an awesome potential.

I for one didn't leave any feedback because this image wasn't my cup of tea, Paul. I'd say, given the left-field nature of it, that this would be the likely reason for the (initial) lack of feedback.

This happens sometimes. Has happened to me too Not the best feeling seeing your post dissapearing. And later on it turnes out that actually many have to say sth (prize or critics). I thought I was getting ignored and disliked on this forum, thats why I stopped posting here.

As to be ignored and disliked: Sure, there are some in this group too But not everybody can like everybody. We all have preferences.
As far this is a PHOTO-phorum, you cant be ignored You are too good for that
