I recently acquired a Pentax 1.7x AF adapter, which I want to use with my 100mm and 300mm manual lenses. Now, when I have used these before, I have dialled in the focal length of the lens into the camera. With the adapter, should I dial the original focal length of the lens or should it be multiplied by 1.7 - so 170mm for the 100mm and 500mm for the 300mm?
Thanks.
Naim
