Nicely done.
Amazing that my 1977 edition of 'The Birds of Britain and Europe' has these as a bird of southern Europe and beyond. 40 years later, they're in Warwickshire.

Lovely pictures and superb control of the exposure. These could so easily have gone wrong, with over-exposed whites.

Thanks all, I used the TAV setting and experimented with the +/- button, checking the histogram. I knew I could recover some shade in pp and have ruined too many shots in the past with blown highlights! Luckily the bird was in no rush to move on whilst I took my time.
