There are a couple of places ideal for group meets.
Muncaster castle offers the house, the grounds and the owls.
The South Lakes Wild Animal Park has masses of photo opportunity and for those who want to see things on the way or way back there's the motor museum, Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall.

Seriously I would love to come along and learn a few tricks from you Shaun, unfortunately my old knees wouldn't cope with all that walking! unless we stay in the pub all day!!

Hi Shaun , the dates don't work for me I'm afraid. My wife and I travel up on Monday 4th of June and head home on Friday 8th. We are staying in Grasmere, so if anyone is around and would like to meet up for a pint and a chat, send me a pm.

Just looking at the calendar the 26th May is Bank holiday weekend. Would it be a bit busy in the lakes?

I'd love to come Shaun but I've got so much on throughout June and July I think my wife would not be pleased if I added yet another date.
I'm going to Edinburgh for the Fringe street activity on Saturday August 11. If any PUF members are around there I'll look out for them.

As we all had a lovely day on Saturday we all where talking about going to the Lake District?
So why don’t we?I was wondering we could go to Ambleside water fall and lake then on to Grassmere, lake and Hawkshead village as they are all in the same 4 to 6 miles of each other.
For them who as never been it would be very nice for them to see the beautiful seens that i have seen and to show them where my local haunts are.
The dates I was thinking where Saturday the 26th may or Saturday 9th of June if anyone would like to meet up please PM me and I can set the date, thanks hope to see and meet a lot of you again.
Shaun
