Maybe for chronic cases, meditation will work better!!!!

As the good vic says - focussing definitely better and manual focus magnification now starts in the centre! (Don't buy yellow though - leave that to the youngsters )

Can you give us some coded message to help identify the "well known retailer" in case ours has the same range. It's always nice to get your hands on something before you buy - something you can rarely do with Pentax.

Jessops in Brum have a decent display of all the Pentax kit, and when I was there last, a sales rep who knew his Pentax stuff and owned a K30. On the negative side, the display was not very prominent - all the DSLRs having been moved from the front of the shop (alongside Nikon and Sony) to further back, facing away from the entrance.

They were looking keenly at the K-01 and asking for it in yellow. "It's not available in yellow," declared the salesman. "Don't be such a stick-in-the-mud!" I told him, "It's available in yellow, black or silver..."
"I meant we may not stock it," he replied, and almost reluctantly went to check. They were still looking at it a little later, so I gave them a card and put SRS's details on it. Perhaps they have contacted Chris and ordered one.
Having said that, there was a splendid display of Pentax cameras and lenses, the best I have ever seen in this outlet.
