Any suggestions for a good hood for a Pentax F 35-135 purchased recently?

This one looks a possibility:

That looks the same as the one I've got on my 35-105. It's been on there for more than 30 years with no problem.

Thanks Smudge - quite an endorsement! The 7 Day shop one is Hama branded at £10.99 whereas this one unbranded on E Bay is even cheaper at £3.39 and looks to be much the same:

Any more views on these options or any alternatives?

I have one of the Ebay hoods for my Pentax-A 35-135mm f3.5.

Works fine even though I hate screw on hoods.

Cheers for that info Mike. Any reasons for not liking these kinds of hood? What might be better in your opinion?

I just prefer the plastic ones that you can reverse to carry on the lens rather than rubber screw on hoods. Just a thing I have about rubber hoods, doesn't mean they are no good or there is something better.

Unfortunately I think they only started the reversable hood a bit later.

One big advantage of plastic hoods is the additional protection they give you. Far better to bounce the hood off a wall that the front element.

And they look much cooler too!

Ah, that was the reason I was looking for.

Just to tidy up this thread, I ordered the Hama hood from 7 Day Shop. They took my money (since refunded) and then e-mailed me to say it was out of stock. So I purchased the E Bay one at £3.39 and it seems absolutely fine. Well made and it arrived in 48 hours.
