Yesterday was the Aston Martin Heritage Trust day at Brooklands museum, Despite the heat it was an excellent day with more pre-war Aston Martins (road and racing) than you could shake a very large stick at ! Plus about 600 more post war models.

Nice, classy little selection Peter - were you not tempted to use the 21mm? Your low angle technique really suits these

Thanks John. I did have the 21mm with me but knew from previous experience that the 24-70 zoom covers the desired focal lengths perfectly. It was 35 degrees so i didnt want to lug a lot of kit around !

One thing I have only just noticed, and only because I put these photos in the same post. Look at the lines on the front of the bonnet, above the grill in pics 1 and 2 where it transitions from the centre to the side.

Aston Martin have always said that changes in model styling are incremental and they always borrow heavily from the past. The top picture is a 2022 DB11 and the second is a 1958 DB Mark III, but they could have been designed and crafted by the same hand.

Really like them all, they show the ages of Aston Martin. For me they started off great in pic 3, pic 2 was when they were just stunning and peaked in looks and I'm not sure where their heads were in pic 1!
