My enthusiasm dies for macro when the summer begins to fade (although I guess that's not 100% the problem)
The eyes are lovely and sharp but I think you can boost the shadows on the body quite a bit without introducing too much noise. I downloaded it off your Flickr page and tried ... it made quite a difference.

K3ii
Bellows with about 60 mm extension
Sigma 105mm macro
And ringflash with homemade diffuser
I input 180 mm as focal length which is what I always do when I have the bellows on,
1/180th for exp f8 and iso 200, handheld
