Haven't been able to get any enthusiasm to get out and shoot lately, but went out for 20 mins this morning, got this one

The eyes are lovely and sharp but I think you can boost the shadows on the body quite a bit without introducing too much noise. I downloaded it off your Flickr page and tried ... it made quite a difference.

My enthusiasm dies for macro when the summer begins to fade (although I guess that's not 100% the problem)

Feel free to post it Mike.
Might give me an idea of how much to push it.
I just ran with my standard pp on this.
So no layers or such.
Genuinely had to force myself to go out.
I know what i like, If not always why.

Chris. I used a,
K3ii
Bellows with about 60 mm extension
Sigma 105mm macro
And ringflash with homemade diffuser
I input 180 mm as focal length which is what I always do when I have the bellows on,
1/180th for exp f8 and iso 200, handheld
I know what i like, If not always why.
