A first attempt at Motorcross

On the way back from the Minsmere RSPB Reserve, for our weekly walk, I stopped in, for half an hour at the Blythburgh MX practice track.

The light was fading and I hadn't been there before, so had no idea where to stand. However I did mange to capture a few that I liked.

Now, I will freely admit that many of these are not the 'sharpest' of images however I'm open to C&C as always.

All taken with K5iis, DA* 60-250, ISO 800 with cropping and P&P in LR4.

Well ! As a fan of motocross, I'd be very pleased to have taken these !
A nice selection with cornering and jumps and #1 and #10 show speed. You obviously picked some good places to stand - I think they're great !

Thanks for that.

The rest of them can be found HERE if anyone is interested.

I like them as well

I have taken MX photo's for a local club in the dim and distant (pre Pentax for me) days but not for a long time - I like these despite any sharpness issues

As always light is the key
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.
