Feather detail on the blackbird is rather nice, I mean it's good on the other shots but this one is outstanding, that's another feather in this lenses cap (pun intended)
Of course we must also remember the skill of the photographer helped too

Thanks again everyone. Much appreciated
The Bigmos OS must be faster, as it doesn't seem so much of a problem

Neil, its down to my style of shooting I think. Bird lands on stick, or deer lifts its head up, quickly fire off a shot. Unfortunately, probably before the SR has been fully activated. Thanks for heads up on SR on K5, only had the camera nearly 2 years!

Thanks again for comments
well it is a permanent fixture, the size of a large garden shed, on a concrete base
I have been browsing portable hides of late. But no closer to buying one.

Hi Alan, nice shots and food for thought. Neil is a friend of mine so we will both be on the case as we both have the DA* 300. Never really thought of the SR as a disadvantage but I can see it could be.
Thanks, Dave.
P.S. - I've had a bag hide for some time which just screws up in a rucksack. Works pretty well and I've used it successfully with a Kingfisher down to 10 foot!
Thanks, Dave.

Been looking at hides with a chair built in Dave. Any experience of these?
