Quite interesting shots can you tell us more about them?
I'mquite curious what you've done with the first photo to get that effect for example

Yes, the first shot is a combination of three different shots taken of running water at a local reservoir. I then assigned the 3 different shots a separate colour and merged them back together. I was trying to get the moving water to appear tri-colour. (next time I will use a tripod).

Shot 2 my daughter. I made the background b&w and re-touched the little pine needles above her head back to green.

Last one is a B&W conversion.

ah i got your idea now interesting, please redo it when you've some time I'm quite curious how it looks when it's perfect.

I didn't really notice what you did to the background simply didn't had an eye for that but now that i look at it more focused on thebackground it does help to make the photo softer and easier to look at.
How did she like the photo?

I like skyscapes and B&W but i almost never do them but i always like to look at them.
Is that a black cloud going from the right side to the left or not?

Lovely shots all but I especially like the last one. The only thing I would suggest is that a little bit more land as a black silhouette would give the photo a base to grow from, if that makes any sense!

Great stuff.

Cheers, Kris.

Nunber three for me, you just gotta love those clouds and I also agree with Kris, a bit more forground would balance the image better. I wouldn't mind seeing this in colour either.

I was going to say I bet your daughter is pleased with hers.....but I wont bother now

Not keen on the first shot though, over-manipulation is'nt really my thing, nice effect with the colour but the rest is a bit.......dare I say boring
