A few different Macro shots from recent trips. I've been experimenting using the K3's built in flash with varying degrees of diffusion in the form of Magic Tape until I get a Speedlight/ (I bought one of those lighting rings, it's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard outdoors) Nowhere near the level of detail I want, but still like some of these. Overdoing flash has some funny effects! Also, I am aware my sensor needs a clean, having seen the Cricket Bat Spider shot...

Cool shots.
You did well with what you have. And a wide variety of bugs.
The pentax ringflash is supposed to be excellent
I know what i like, If not always why.

Not currently, no, I'm going to go with a diffused Speedlight, as it will be more useful for other things too,

Thanks! Nursery Web Spiders are the large ones, the Bright Green Ones are Cucumber Spiders, AKA Green Orb Weavers. The other is a Cricket Bat Spider.
