I struggled with the light, must learn how to use the K5, hence the monochrome conversions.
Cheers, HG

K110+DA40, K200+DA35, K3 and a bag of lenses, bodies and other bits.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...

Well done Dave, an interesting collection. You say you struggled with the light and I know it was quite harsh but you handled it very well. I like the monos.
I think I may have been to the Goths Festival too many times because I struggled to see anything new on Saturday.

Thanks David, this is only my second visit so still new to the scene.

I think the April festival was probably better this year, not so many 'tourists', just a good selection of people. Saturday's crowds seemed to be mostly visitors looking for the goths..

... who were being swamped by the crowd!

Here's another couple of shots.

I've just realised HG's first shot includes himself, obviously he's posting other peoples pics. C'mon Dave, tell us who took it, let have a bit of Honesty

Aren't they a gorgeous lot!

I'm sorry that we missed it this year. We were there mid-October, and as HG commented, Whitby seemed packed with trippers this autumn.

Good pictures,

I spent ages (well a few hours) converting that gun and it still wouldn't take any pictures, despite all the cogs and bits of copper and brass.

HG: I see that you met friends outside Henrietta Street's place. I knew her well, and also her father, Admiral Upmy Street.
