A few from this morning...

A walk around British Camp with the DFA 21mm Limited and the F* 300mm - a bit bright and contrasty sometimes, a bit hazy in the distance too - but an enjoyable walk - click for bigger and better size:

As usual all are very good but I particularly like numbers 1 and 5, lots of interest and suit my sense of a well balanced image.

Interesting how the different format and perspectives of 8 and 9 change things. I like 8 with its strong diagonal leading my eye into the scene to the curved path which in turn leads to the distant hills and then to the distant views on the right and then you notice the heather clad hills on the left. Whereas I find 9 slightly disconcerting with my eye being drawn to the water and then the image seeming to fall away off the page to the right before I notice the curved path. Maybe because I have poor sight in my left eye and naturally look to the right side of an image that no 8 works for me.

I like PRYorkshire's comments, especially, 'all are very good.' They are. 1, 5 and 6 work especially well for me. As always, LennyB, you do good stuff.

Agreed, great picture, my favourites probably 3 and 5, but that could change tomorrow depending on my mood!
Whilst 8 and 9 show the same scene, they are different pictures conveying different messages - if that makes sense! I'm wondering if we are too much hooked onto 'leading the eye' these days? I'm thinking of old paintings from the Middle Ages in which every part has details to look at and study. In no. 9 there many parts with details to see - the heather, water, trees, hillside, countryside behind and sky etc. I can spend more time on 9 than 8, yet 8 must be the better composition.
