Here are a few from this weekend - in Woodhead pass, Peak District. I was hoping I would get some sunset colours but I was in a valley and the horizon was well and truly hidden behind mountains. All with K1. All except the first all are HDR images

Ha! Aircraft contrails are usually to be avoided, seen as spoiling a perfect sky, but here you've grabbed them and transported then to earth, and they become your foreground interest, the subject of the photo almost!

The third is the best composition-wise, although it could be a little further back. The sky balances well in that one too and it has a sense of depth. Nicely shot, it looks fairly sharp and has good tones throughout.

The others have 'issues' composition wise, with the bland central water not really serving as good anchoring foreground. Perhaps some other angles from around to each side would work better? It looks like a spot that will reward plenty of further playing around at.

It's good to see the K1 getting out into its natural habitat

I omitted to mention previously that my camera and both got a good dunking in the water while shooting the last image! Both have survived ☺
