They work really well at the larger size - I like the cool, almost icy look to the rocks in particular

The Sigma Superwide 24mm and KP make for a good looking/useful combo, how do you find the metering? The reason I ask in the past I had this set-up and found that it tended to over-expose the photos, your results look great, are you having to make EV compensations or processing from raw, anything like that? (Thinking of getting another Superwide).

I can't say for certain it overexposes, never noticed, but I generally have the KP underexposing (but not as much as the K1 mkII BTW) and after checking this shot it was by a 1/3rd of a stop.
I did take these shots with bracketing enabled, I had to be sure with the opportunity presently at hand, the weather forecast was dire for the week and I couldn't believe the light on these rocks, the colours were as seen. Taken at 15:18 hours it was still worth it IMHO.
I had to check the WB as currently set to K1 (5500K) and wasn't sure when I changed it, but in Raw data it was set to Auto WB. Natural and in Av mode.
PP'd in Rawtherapee V5.10. but I don't remember doing much or taking long to process.
I always get more 'keepers' from the KP.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I'll keep an eye out for a nice copy, a lot of them have missing lettering since the printed markings seem fragile or deteriorated over the years. As others have observed, I do like the cool/steely look that the Sigma produces compared to Pentax lenses.
