1,2 and 4 are my favourites , atmospheric . My Twin brother is lucky to live in Filey , but unlike me he`s not keen on photography .

1st, 6th and 7th are popping quite well colourfully. A good overall image of the weather system.

The last and, especially, the first work for me. Is there a lot of local contrast or similar on the others? For my taste the textures on these are a bit harsh and the smooth tonality lost, apart from that I think I'd like the sixth as well.

Like them all m8, good representation of Filey, was down there last summer and the brig (5) was looking good in the late sun.
Samsung GX1S + Kit 18-55mm, SMC Pentax 28-80mm FA and Tamron 70-300mm.

Hi guys
Thanks for the comments - as for the processing they are all processed from raw files - yes, they have had contrast tweeks etc but it only occurred to me when proceesing them that the may now be a little dark as I tried to process them 'reasonably' close to how I remember them but what I had forgotten was I was wearing some very dark rap around shades to keep the dust and sand out of my eyes and of course everything looks nicer through dark specs
Number 6 is the exception though - not sure what it is and I have never seen it before but on opening the raw file back in to PS and using the shadows/highlights adjustment it does not act as it should in fact the opposite of how it should and once the slider is stopped it put's it back as it is above regardless of where the slider is - I fiddled with it, swore at it reopened it a few times, restarted the computer and still it seems too dark on the highlights and after seeing it several times decided it's not that bad and kept it as PS seems to think it should be
If this happens again I may have to reinstall PS - not an excuse more an explanantion of my lazy attitude in not getting it the way I wanted it.
