As the title says. I took these a couple of weeks ago.

Really need a macro lens of my own. My OH has a Tamron 90mm but it is her favourite lens. I had to make to with her Tamron 70-300 and my Pentax 16-50.

C&C Welcome.

I like how this one turned out. Fairly heavy crop though.

I find it is very difficult to now blow yellow highlights out. It is also hard to pick up the detail.

It was hot and fairly dry so it is understanding why it wasn't moving

Really like #1 - the veins give a fun path through the picture and the droplet gives the eye a rest. Very good, IMO.

Thanks, took me a while to get that one right. I have a landscape version and it really doesn't work at all.

I hadn't thought about the lines at all though

#1 is an excellent shot. I really like the lines in the leaf. Very good capture. I think you could crop the top of it - just at the edge of the big leaf. This will simplify the overall picture a lot.

The Lilly one is nice as well. God capture - had to tell it is not a real macro lens you have been using.

Good idea, that curve at the top is rather distracting.

Love the first two. The leading lines of the first and the drop as a point of centering interest work well together. In the second, the out of focus flowers add a nice balance/background to the one that is your main subject - in a way that having them all in focus could not do.

Well done!

I cropped the first one using flickr's basic editing tools as I was too lazy to reupload it.
