Great set Lenny, love no 4 for the B@W contrast and no5 for the punch of the poppies and no6, how on earth did you manage to walk up such a steep incline but i see later on, that it was for a call into the Weavers Real Ale House

As always, great images, Lenny. Just back from a week in Italy / Amalfi. Took the 21mm and 28-105mm for my K1ii. I may have used the 28-105mm a couple of times, the rest the 21mm. Your images confirm why it's such a fabby lens. The 77mm also rocks.

In sum, an incredible set here.

Just curious, which Malvern is this?

All great images and carefully framed. Number four is above and beyond though. Instantly draws parallels to the Rene Jacques B&W image of Montmartre of 1950.

Thanks for all the kind comments, it seems no.4 is the overall favourite and such high praise from K10D to compare my image with Rene Jacques - I wish but thank you. Walkeja - it's Great Malvern in Worcestershire And Steve, it does feel like Yosemite when doing the uphill bit

My Godmother lived in Great Malvern or Malvern Wells, can't remember which, but it always niggles me when the media refer to Malvern but never say which one, I think (without checking) there are four.

Great set. Really like the bakehouse monos.

Think my fave is the steps, which I recall you photographing before, but the leaves give a seasonal feel.

Great Malvern - the largest area of shops, often referred to as the town. Great Malven Priory and the Malvern Theatres complex are here.
Malvern Link - Another area with shops along the main road and some industrial units including Morgan Motors.
Malvern Wells - a rather spread-out area of housing (many older, large houses) along the side of the hills on the road leading towards Ledbury.
West Malvern - an area of mainly housing along the road leading below the Herefordshire beacon (also known as "North Hill").
North Malvern - extending on from West Malvern and round the end of "North Hill"

And then there are several other parts without the name "Malvern" in them - Barnards Green, Pickersleigh, etc.
