A colour problem with my K5

You're still 180° out, and on several counts. For one, it's called bypass for a reason.

"Bypass" as in go around (a town) or skip. It is also called Skip Bleach.

Developed for movie film to recreate the look of earlier colorized black & white film, by skipping the bleach step in color film process and thus leaving the silver in the film.

So doesn't involve bleach, nor spilling of same, nor in a photographer's darkroom, nor is it misnamed. Note with a photographic film process it would be more usual to do this Skip Bleach process on the print rather than the negative. Otherwise exactly as described ... not.

Here is the result of setting my K5 to neutral.
The lens was my 35mm DA f2.8 LTD. with a soft filter on front.

The oranges are orange again. This is the exact colour the rose was.

I had this problem for about a week and it was quite absenting. I thought I need to send the camera in for repair. However having a vague idea of the repair cost, I decided to sell a test instrument I didn't need anymore for a good (for the buyer) price on Ebay and then bought another K5 but this time a K5II also on Ebay from Japan.
I may have been a bit hasty, But on the other hand, It didn't really cost me anything and now I have a spare camera in case something happens again.
What I will most probably do, is to fit a M42 to K adapter and use it for my screw mount lenses.

If you have (now) have a K-5II you'll probably want to reverse the roles. K-5II's focus so much better in challenging low light scenarios.

This makes sense, I will do it the way you suggest.
