I notice LCE have one of these for sale.

Must admit, it looks like it could be a bargain but I've never seen one before. Anyone own/used on before?

I don´t see the point of a soft focus lens if you´re going to use it on digital. On film fair enough. Seems expensive to me, for a lens I´d regard of very limited usefulness.

Soligor used to do a similar lens but they were less honest in their advertising.

I think Don has one. There are a few on ebay but generally for more than this one.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

ACE in Bath had one a year a go - nearer £400 IIRC - thought about it long and hard, but managed to resist my LBA this time.

If its in good condition, might be a relative bargain - assuming it's on your wanted list.

LCE is London Camera Exchange who are very reputable shops.

If you click on the link in my first post then click the 'Contact Branch' you could email and check with them. They are not the sort of company to knowingly accept stolen goods.

The one in ACE in Bath was still there as of last Friday. I can't remember the price though.

I did follow the link; there was however no means to contact them. And as you state "knowingly", they might simply not know.

Note that I did not intend to place them in a bad light; apologies to LCE if it looked like that.

PS
I've just informed them and asked them to verify. I think that the noscript plugin that is installed on the specific computer that I used earlier might have blocked something as this time I did get a form to contact them.

I do indeed have one.
Love it to death.
It is an acquired taste. Lensbabies may be another option.

The bokeh is astounding.
this is a great lens for portraits and landscapes...
the trick with this lens is to always centre the eyes, then crop in post to compose, when shooting portraits.

get some nd filters and a lens hood though, as studio strobes can be tricky to work with...
try it with video as well...
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
