I'd love it - but I don't think I'd risk a trip to Londinium for what is likely to be an optical illusion - but if a trusted forum member wants to inspect it, try it out, purchase it and get a guarantee that I could return it if faulty then I'd reimburse them and give them £250 on top

Interesting... an (apparently) new one (origin and reason for sale not forthcoming) went on ebay recently for a similar price... not from a reputable camera seller though... they still tend to be £4k+... but the price is definitely dropping...

As I was really tempted to pick one up at the Photography Show for £4800, this was definately worth investigating as the price is too good to miss, so sent him an email. Turns out it's in Scotland and as it's over a 1000 mile trip for me and I would want to see it first, I won't be going to have a look!

Strange he's advertising it on Craigslist London if it's in Scotland, did he say where by any chance? maybe I could pop round and check it out...
