5GB seagate with *Ist'D

Hello PENTAXUSERS! Best regard from Hungary I am Attila, member of Index Pentac Fan Club. My problem is in the subject: "card error". Have everybody good idea? Fimware is 1.12 ( fat32 or not, exceed 4gb is not up to 4gb ??) , the microdrive worked in Nikon D70. Some nikon know something and our PENTAX not? Where is the Justice?Need help.

Have you checked that the firmware upgrade was successful. To do this: switch off the camera, press and hold down the Menu button, and switch on. The firmware version will be displayed.

If that is OK, have you formatted the card? To do this (assuming it is possible while the camera is "stating card error"): Switch on, press the menu button, and select format. Follow the instructions.

If this doesn't work, or can't be done, check the card in another camera. It may be faulty.

If the card is OK, and none of the above work, then I am afraid I can't help you. Perhaps somebody else has some ideas.

I checked all! I will trying an another camera ( like nikon .. One of specialis wrote "on the back of microdrive you can see the firmware of card : 3,08 is correct for digiphoto or PDA use FW 3.04 not. All theses microdrives OEM blocked, not for public sale!Not CF compatible.
