35mm cameras for sale

Well, ok guys, given the age and availability of the camera, and also the interest in the camera (which is offered as "body only" unless you want the 35-105 with it), then the price is open to negotiation as I recently mentioned.

New light seals, transport/shutter overhaul 8 years ago, cared for since purchase (1989 or so) by my good self and never taken out in poor weather. Lived in the camera bag for those years when not in use, away from damp.

To quote the character Arthur Daley, "my word is my bond", I can offer nothing more than to say it is operational and I am only selling it to fund my digital camera system additions, likewise with all the other items.

Again I feel I should apologise for any confusion in the initial stages; a number of people were interested in the same few items, and I sold the items to the people that first asked for my address to send their cheques for my asking price.

Sorry for any rough handling. It's gone a little quiet on here lately, and next week I'll just start putting things on Ebay. I feel that the enthusiasts on this forum have had their say and made their purchases.

Boo hoo. My lovely camera bodies didn't make their reserve. I honestly expected the MX to get £50, perhaps not the Super A.

Hmmm. Not sold on Ebay for a while, the ME Winder 2 went for only a couple of quid.

Check the updated prices of the flashguns.

Super A body (bidding from £25)

In case anyone is still interested...

Yes, I'm going to keep my eye on the Super A price.

I think the MX starting at £30 is safe enough...

Thanks anyway. I reckon if I left it another year, it wouldn't sell at all! My local camera shop don't even give a value in part-ex and they used to be very good like that.

The fact is that very few people are now shooting film; lots of Super As were made, so it has no scarcity value; and you can now buy an LX for under £200.00.

Soon LXs will go for £30.00.

Not often. About 250 is more usual.

Goodie... I can get a spare to back up my one. And maybe I can afford that 5x4" enlarger to go with my Horseman view camera.

I subscribe to two magazines (Outdoor Photographer and BW Photography) and I am surprised at how many people are still using film. It it a minority niche, but I think it will survive as just that. Not because film is better, just because it is different. There is, for example, a growing market for pin hole cameras. Old Russian Lomos are now going up in value. What is just so much junk are people's precious all singing all dancing multimode autofocus film cameras. Too similar to modern digital offerings with none of the benefits.

Just my 2p worth.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
