As the title suggests... I was out tonight in a beautiful cold still frosty night for 2hrs.

I was having my first full on serious crack at shooting the Orion Nebula.

Set up was:

K3
Sky Watcher Startravel 80mm f5 400m focal length Refractor Telescope
Sky Watcher Star Adventurer 2i
Giottos Tripod
Intervalometer

20 x 20sec exposures @ iso400
15 x dark frames
20 x bias frames
20 x flat frames

Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker
Post Processing in Photishop & Lightroom

This is 2 different crops of the same image with slightly altered processing on each.

Wrap up well, it's going to freeze, I shall be sat in the warmth perhaps a wee drink to warm the cockles too.
No footie tonight tho.
