26x zoom - very nice

The Pentax Optio X90 news is terrible, but X90 seems quite well, mainly its 26x zoom. I've tried it on the simulator (Pentax X90 zoom test) and it looks quit interesting!

How can you simulate how a lens will preform with a simple web program? I think I'm missing the point

It looks interesting, but the X70 wasn't well received. Hopefully the X90 is an improvement. A shame it doesn't have RAW - most bridge cameras nowadays offer Raw as an option.
Is it made by Pentax or outsourced, like the smaller Optios?
