You enjoyed the sunshine here Simon and made the most of it .... very sharp and full of impact. 1, 2 and 6 are the standouts for me. The opening seascape image is beautiful .... just needed a racing car in silhouette on the end of the water-break there

All good, but No.3 does it for me, dynamic with such a good background.

#2 and #3 are superb Simon, and my picks from a strong set.
Cheers,
Simon.

Thanks, all, for the kind words. Much appreciated.
On the road again tomorrow in the general direction of more motor racing nonsense. Photos quite likely to follow...

Not been a racing fan, I'm rather drawn to No 1, but No. 3 is the stand-out image for me. Just enough blur to show speed, but not so much that you cannot appreciate the location. Excellent stuff all round. K.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Hi Simon, as an 'old school' (read: 'the turbo days') F1 fan who is disillusioned with everything in current F1, the usual shots of cars don't interest me anymore (unless it's a spectacular crash). I prefer your driver portraits, reflections and other 'off-beat' shots much more.On the road again tomorrow in the general direction of more motor racing nonsense. Photos quite likely to follow...

No F1 cars involved this coming weekend, John - I'll be focusing on saloons and GTs, ancient and modern, at the Nürburgring. I'll try to incorporate people and a sense of place, though - I always do, when time and circumstance permit...
