Great photos Simon.
I once stayed a hotel which is on the chicane 1/2 way down the Mulsane? straight. Its garden is behind the Armco and it is booked up for the race time 6 years in advance as people just need to go out to the garden to watch the race.
I was in Le Mans for work NOT for the race.

#3 is superb!! I'd rotate it slightly clockwise to straight up the Dunlop bridge though.

Lovely set. #3 is a stunner - would it look better with the sky trimmed down a smidgeon though?
