Nice to see somebody who thinks about other brands than canon.
He seems mildly positive where Pentax are concerned, as for Nikon designing their own sensors, that just means more Sony ones for Pentax to use to boost production, which will bring prices down and boost sales, which means...

Smartcamera, too bad he missed the obvious link with Samsung, they are the only company in the list I believe that make smartphones and cameras. It might not be so strange if they would make the jump to a hybrid.
Or that they will put Android OS on cameras, they are already putting it in tellies.
He made a very good point that Canon isn't dong so very well, they have some catching up to do next year. With Nikon (Pentax) and Sony video cameras.
The question is if Pentax would made an EVIL how would it look like... I doubt they will made a special lens line for it... maybe they will make an EVIL video camera, something like Sony has but still slightly more geared to photo so that it's a better hybrid? That would certainly be a surprise and probably make Don very happy.
