2011 fireworks

For Charlotte to enjoy, and others if they wish
all taken with the DA*16-50 at f16 set on bulb plus tripod and IR remote. Cropped and blacks pushed up in LR3 (it helps to get rid of the smoke) but no other editing.

i'll try that tip on pushing the blacks on my firework photos. i like the smoke in some, but would be nice to get a cleaner image in others

Very nice indeed. A lot better than many I've seen.

#6 would have been magnificent if it hadn't been cut off by the edge of the frame. I guess you zoomed it out a bit for #9, but the impact isn't the same.

I reckon you should try putting some of them in a montage, and making them brighter if possible.

It could end up as a fabulous print if you were able to stitch them together nicely. Quite a lot of effort, but likely worth it.

Nice shots. I agree with ChrisA's comment and print some, I would choose the best three and print them as a tryptich. (did I spell that right?)
