2 bugs

A couple more from the garden.The 1st is a Jewel bug, of which there are many flavours and colours

and this one?? looks like it's in the nymph stage

The last one is an adult Assassin bug, they predate other insects. Lovely colours.

Very pleasing and the sort of photography I am interesting in improving in. Presuming you are using your extension tubes would be mind telling me what lens you were using with them?

not at all, the Tamron 90mm as you say with tubes is the weapon of choice.have not tried it yet but they say a light spray of cold water on the insect stills it momentarily for a better shot.Bugs are certainly less active first thing in the morning when it's cooler.Like us I guess

Thank you Don, I have a 105 macro that I think may be suitable for use with a set of tubes or perhaps TC - not made up my mind yet so seeking as much info as I can.
