Thought I'd say hello. Just got my 1st Pentax system after a flurry with Nikon (D50) and Canon (7D) and nothing at all! I was going to get the K-7 instead of the 7D but got blind-sided with a very good price on 7D; so got it. But was never really happy using it (it's a great piece of kit; don't get me wrong!). I played around with some "L", Leica and Zeiss glass which was really great but still didn't feel right.
So off-loaded it all and have now found myself with a K-5, 1.9/43Ltd and a MZ-3 and feel a lot happier. I got the Ltd and MZ-3 together for a very good price thank you very much and couldn't resist! At least the daughter will have proof that film existed once upon a time !!!
So that's me. Just need to do some lens calibration (1.9/43 is back-focusing) and then get some more glass - gonna stick with primes for now me thinks.
Cheers for now.
