135mm lens for sale needs minor repair

I hope iit's ok to post this here. Although the brand name of this lens is Yasashi, which I can't seem to find online, I've found it takes sharper photos than my pentax 135mm f2.5! I think this is one of those no name brand lenses that occasionally shine.

The catch is that it's sluggish closing down the aperture. You can use it at 2.8 without problems but either the diaphragm blades need cleaning or minor repair, if you open and close the aperture quickly you can sometimes see it lagging. I've been told it would probably cost around £10-15 (unless of course the buyer can do this himself).

The body and glass looks fine. Focusing is also good. Lens hood retracts into body of lens. It takes 52mm filters, It comes with front and rear lens caps. (the rear cap isn't the right fit so it's really just to help protect the lens during shipping)

Anyway, I'll take any reasonable offer, it's just not being used at the moment.

Do you have an SMC Pentax 1:2.5 135mm, or a Takumar (bayonet) 1:2.5 135mm.

If the former (which is a superb lens), you have a damaged sample if it is really not as good as your no-name lens. If the latter, then it has been described as: "Maybe the worst prime Pentax ever put out, in terms of resolution and contrast", so even a milk bottle would be an improvement.

Either way, I fear that there is no market for damaged no-name lenses. Spend an hour of harmless fun taking it apart, and then ten hours of frustration trying to put it back together.

I always give up after ten hours. More patient souls may last longer.
