Great stuff Nigel... as David says above, you've caught some beautiful light in these... 8, 9 and 10 for me... particularly like the 3rd tree from the right in Witchampton... and the letterbox view of no 2 is a lovely composition...

I have to agree that the composition/aspect ratio for no 2 is fantastic, also the Bosham Harbour shot is gorgeous, well composed with excellent exposure and lighting.

A brilliant set, as Dr O says, plenty of special lighting, plus beautiful colours . 2, 8, 10, 12 are my particular favourites - a great photographic year!

Lovely images Nigel, very well thought out and taken. The compositions here are what catch my eye, I think you must 'see' things in a quite similar way to me.

No 1. January - A late afternoon Winter's view from Hengistbury Head across the harbour to Christchurch Priory :
No. 2 - March - A cropped letterbox view from Bulbarrow Hill, looking south :
No. 3 - April - Bluebells in the evening light at Pamphill (part of the Bankes estate now owned by NT) :
No. 4 - August - Little-used tugboats moored up at Poole Quay :
No. 5 - August - things got a bit much for one person on a hot day at Ellingham Show :
No. 6 - September - low evening sunlight illuminates the boats in the harbour at West Bay :
No. 7 - October - Ashmore, the highest village in Dorset, just after the morning fog had cleared :
