I can see your illustrations now but Daniel's explanation of 100% crop . . . has got me beat. Surely a percentage crop should mean either the amount of the full frame that has been cropped out, or the amount that is left. To me, 100% crop can only mean either 100% of the original image is left or 100% has been removed ? ? ? ? ? ?
Personally, I would find it very difficult to determine that I'd cropped (removed) 13.75% of an image, for example.

That's why I said 'cropped', rather than 'crop', perhaps I should have put a comma in there too. So it's 100% (i.e. full size, like when you're using photoshop and you view at 100%), cropped.
But does it really matter? On another post I said "These are crops, shown at 100%". That sounds better I think.
Any other suggestions?
