"Rollin along"

I posted picture 1 in my gallery and had a difference of opinion (which I fully respect) and was asked to see the original. It was also stated perhaps a straight black and white would be better, so I have included these plus added a toned one just to mix it up a bit. It would be interesting to see the users preferences.

I prefer the 1st over the others but it needs a touch less processing. Somewhere between 1 and 3 would be ideal.

The straight black and white for me .... It's really clean looking, good contrast and seems 'style appropriate'. I do like the colour original also, but the straight black and white has some extra qualities.

I almost go along with Mike-P. Somewhere between 1 & 4 would be my choice. I think 4 is a little over done but 1 could do with just a bit more "sepia" that way the actual photo would look as old as the Vauxhall in the photo. CHEERS Vic.

The black and white shot is fine, and the best of the set I think.

If you want sepia tone, that would be fine as well, but a little more subtle. Try Hue/Saturation, Colourise and set a value of around 25. Reduce the intensity of that and I think you'll end up with a very nice effect. The Lightness control can be used as well, to fine tune the final density of the image.

That first one would make a fantastic tin print or jigsaw puzzle, something for the tourist shops
