From the Telegraph today."Prandtl-Glauert singularity". is the cloud around the bomer.
The older I get the faster I was.

Hmm I vaguely remember Prandtl number form my Fluid Dynamics classes... Oh memory, how rapidly you extinguish thyself.

It awesome to watch vids of jets braking the sound barrier and getting these cones around them:
