Trawling through some unanswered posts Nice set iberg, as usual I'm jealous of the fabulous sky over there. Moonscape is easily my favourite, what a fantastic tree that is, shot from a cool angle.

Thanks Tim, pleasing to get a response on this one!

The sky is bold and blue here, and even better 'out back', away from the coast and the cities.

The tree you like is a lemon-scented gum (eucalyptus citrodora).

An incredible variety of trunks, I-Berg. Do you ever get clouds (dumb question, maybe)? Although we long for bright blue skies and they do look great in most shots, sometimes brewing storm clouds or huge white cumulus can make a landscape.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Funny you should ask - over an inch of rain has fallen here today! Very humid too - the overcast stayed around without a break, and it was in the mid-20s.

Agree re the cumulus - they are a dramatic background for many shots.

The shapes and textures in ti-tree are my favourite.
The detail in candlebark tree is also gloriously colourful and pin sharp.
