"A" setting with Adaptall ll lenses

Is it possible to have the "A/AE" setting operating when using Adaptall ll lenses in conjunction with the extension tube model 18F or Teleconverter 01F? In particular I'm trying with the 90mm 52BB lens with a P/KA adapter. So far I can't get it to work but I don't have any manuals to tell me if I'm assembling items in the correct order.

I have the 52B and 18F with PKA adapter and seems to work fine on lens AE position and Av on the camera. The camera indicates f2.4/2.5 on the widest setting.

Not found any issue with the order of assembly as long as you check operation of the aperture before connecting to the camera.

Do not know if this helps but i have an sp90mm 72b with a PKA adaptor that works just fine with a kenko tele converter in AE setting.

Thank you gentlemen. It would appear yesterday I did not have the lens and tube connected correctly. After seeing your posts and knowing it should work, I've had another try and hey presto, it works.
