Wanted: Extension tubes set for K-3II/Pentax 100mm macro
I am keen to try my K-3ii/Pentax 100mm macro lens with extension tubes however, given by as yet limited experience with Pentax digital cameras/lens/accessories, may I solicit advice from learned members here in the forum? I would prefer fully auto if possible (inc auto focus) and I see the inter...

Wanted: Extension tubes set for K-3II/Pentax 100mm macro
You will struggle to find any extension tubes that are Auto-Focus - many will say AF on the barrel but that usually just means they fit Pentax AF cameras. There is an AF tube available going under various names (Micnova I think was one) but having tried it myself I would advise you to steer clear of...

Wanted: Extension tubes set for K-3II/Pentax 100mm macro
As Lennybloke says, you won't get autofocus with extension tubes. Tubes called 'auto' will allow other auto functions, but check carefully which functions are supported by the specific set of tubes you're looking at. Lack of autofocus isn't a major problem as at typical macro magnifications and narr...

SMC Pentax A 35-105 f3.5 "stack of primes" for sale
Having recently purchased a 28-105 here on the forum, I think it's time to let this lovely lens go. It has a super reputation and fans often refer to it as a 'stack of primes'. Well, probably not quite, but it is very good. Having tried it on APSC and FF I think it shines more on the former (ha...

FS: Pentax FA* 85mm f1.4 (Manual Focus)
Bit of an odd one here - I have a Pentax FA* 85mm f1.4 in overall lovely condition but its AF is starting to fail, sometimes it works fine others it sort of "slips" a bit, so I would imagine it will fail completely at some point! Not sure how to price it, because other than the AF it is excellent...

FS: Pentax FA* 85mm f1.4 (Manual Focus)
My DA 40mm Limited's AF locked up a few years ago because one of the internal cogs broke and jammed the mechanism, and I've read of similar reports on other AF lenses. It cost me very little to get fixed, about €50. Obviously this is a much older model and the cogs may be different but cogs are so...
