Hiya, as per title, looking to get my hands on a good example of a sigma 150-500 HSM OS, or maybe a 120-400 HSM OS. I know I've asked before but for health reasons I had to change the plan a little. But I'm now back to almost fighting fit again and the urge to get my wellies on and do a proper ri...

FS: Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 II EX DC APO HSM
It is a great lens. Had my 50-135mm not come back from repair acting like a completely different lens (AF speed wise)I would have kept mine and sold the Pentax (again).

FS: Jessops MC 1.7x Pz/AF TC (identical to the Pz-AF 1.7x Teleplus SHQ TC)
Excellent TC, I've found that using the DA*300 tripod mounted the Teleplus 1.7x works fine AF wise, for some reason, hand held of resting on a hide shelf in my cupped hand, AF hunts. I presume it's the SDM trying to achieve critical focus but have no proof. John

Zeiss ZS (M42) 50/1.4 and 35/2
I might be interested in the 35. Is it only manual focus? I have a Zeiss 50 already and love its clarity and quality but I'm slightly frustrated with never being able to switch to autofocus. I'm considering the Pentax 2.8 35ltd at the moment and saw this for sale. I have now got a K5iis and this qua...

PENTAX AF 28-105MM F2.8-4 SIGMA ASPHERICAL ZOOM LENS EXCELLENT
To be fair it does say Sigma in the description. I bought one of these at a similar price and use it a great deal - nice and sharp and zips into focus [if a bit noisily!] - if you're on a tight budget it's not a bad option.

Wanted: SFX(n) AA Battery holder
There was a sfxn that sold on ebay earlier this year, the picture looked like it had the large grip. I was looking for one late last year but in the end just bought a battery! Got the camera running, still haven't used it- been to busy getting back into using a dslr!

Wanted: SFX(n) AA Battery holder
I used to have an SFXn in the early '90s, my thoughts at the time were that it was built like a brick privy. It was my 'party' camera and it came through everything I could throw at it. I've recently acquired an SFX (primarily because it came with a 35-70 F zoom), dug out an old 2CR5 and it fired...

Wanted: SFX(n) AA Battery holder
Hi John, The 35-70 wasn't a 'kit lens', that term hadn't been invented then. It was simply one of several zoom lenses available from Pentax (discounted very slightly if bought with a body). If you couldn't afford the camera & 35-70, you could buy it with the 50mm f/1.4 or for a bit less the 50mm ...

Wanted: SFX(n) AA Battery holder
Hi I agree - When I bought the SFXn back in 1989 the SMC-F 35-70mm was one of the recommended lenses. With my renewed interest in photography I have found that I am using these 20+ year old lenses more than the new ones. Getting a little off topic here with the search for the SFXn AA battery ...
