Sears 135mm f2.8 Macro "Soft Focus"

I looked at the link you posted, and loved the soft, dreamy, effect in shots 3 and 4 of the opening post, but don't see the same in your photos. Do you have other shots that do exhibit the same 'look'?

Sears 135mm f2.8 Macro "Soft Focus"

In fairness that's probably more down to the photographer than the lens :) This one maybe? I haven't used it a great deal to be honest - hence the sale. It can go much softer than I have demonstrated in my pictures, almost too soft for me and I guess that's where you need to experiment to...

FS: Sigma DG EX 1.4x Teleconverter

It actually performed very well, obviously there is a slowdown in AF performance but IQ wise it was not bad at all. I hardly used it on the 100-300mm though as I always took the Sigma 50-500mm if I knew I was going to need that sort of focal length. Obviously though if you don't have anything larger...

FS: Asahi Pentax SMC f/2.5 - 135mm

I have a lovely condition copy of this classic lens with a metal hood (designed for the Takumars but the same filter thread) - the lens is in excellent condition with original caps, has a smooth focus action and optically nice and clean. I will put some photos up later. Price: £125 plus P&P...

Wanted: Camera + Tubes

PKA/AF extension tubes..... I've never seen any tubes that do AF quite a lot say PKA/AF on the side, but it's just the PKA part that works. I've even got a set of Triplus that say Pz-AF, but they are just PKA :shock: Thank you Algi :) I will be using manual focus but would like a set of tubes th...

FS: Pentax F* 300mm f4.5

Putting my Pentax F* 300mm f4.5 lens up for sale as I don't use it. The lens is in used condition as you can see from the photos, it has a few marks here and there on the body and the tripod collar is missing (No great worry as the lens is so small). The front element is perfect and there is a sm...

FS: NEW :: Pentax DA 55-300mm f4/f5.8 ED :: NEW :: £230 posted.

Just to elaborate on what I said about Quickshift being handy/essential on this or any Pentax lens.... it focuses a lot faster if you twist it towards infinity before focusing. The reason for this is the way the K-5 is programmed. It will first wind the lens focus into the minimum focus dist...

FS: NEW :: Pentax DA 55-300mm f4/f5.8 ED :: NEW :: £230 posted.

The reason for this is the way the K-5 is programmed. It will first wind the lens focus into the minimum focus distance... in this case about 1.4M until it hits the correct focus point. If it doesn't find it... it will start going from minimum focus to INFINITY and stop at the point it finds cor...
