I'm having a clear out of some of my lenses to make space and raise funds for an FA77 ltd. For sale is my Sigma 400mm f/5.6. I've had it for a year or so, but haven't used it as much as long teles aren't really my cup of tea. There are a number of variants of this lens; this one is manual focus, ...

It is with a heavy heart I am selling my camera gear to fund an emergency expense. Hoping to keep some of my lenses (but from the looks of it some may go too). Vivitar Series I 70-210mm f2.8-4 komine version (3)

Hi Steve, no it's MF only. Closest focus distance written on the lens is 0.8 meters/2.75 feet - but I think it actually gets closer, I can test it out properly tomorrow to see exactly how close if you like?

Vivitar Series I 70-210mm f2.8-4 komine version (3)

I have this lens. The little pin needs to be removed so that it will not interfere with the Pentax focus screw, but this is a job that takes seconds. G

FS: Kenkon Teleplus Pz-AF 1.7X Teleconvertor SHQ, Work with SDM

Never seen one of those before. I'm familiar with the 1.5x version, and I also own the Promaster Pz-AF 1.7x converter (which looks exactly the same as this one above), but I've never managed to make it work with SDM/HSM lenses, although it has the powerzoom contacts: the lense hunts forever without ...

FS: Kenkon Teleplus Pz-AF 1.7X Teleconvertor SHQ, Work with SDM

i have just acquired a 2X AF teleconvertor, which does hunt a while to focus, but it all depends on the light condition. The 1.7X teleplus performances a lot faster than the 2X one with a SDM lens, even in dim light condition.

FS: Kenkon Teleplus Pz-AF 1.7X Teleconvertor SHQ, Work with SDM

This 1.7X TC has no any issue on focus locking. with a SDM lens, the focusing speed has been significantly improved compared with a screw-drive TC. Using 1.7X TC reduces 1 and 1/2 stop aperture, right between 1 stop of 1.5X and 2 stop of 2X. i will upload some sample photos taken with my DA* 50-135m...

FS: Kenkon Teleplus Pz-AF 1.7X Teleconvertor SHQ, Work with SDM

The focus locking is not as fast as without TC, which is common to most TC's, but i do not find it too difficult to lock. it really varies on the focal length and object contrast. i have intentionally selected the samples with some moving objects to give some sense about the focusing. I am sellin...

FS: Kenkon Teleplus Pz-AF 1.7X Teleconvertor SHQ, Work with SDM

Bear in mind that, from the feedback I've received from people using a converter with the DA*300, the autofocus becomes so slow that it is nearly useless for birds in flight, for instance (I know some people who sold the converter back, even moved to Nikon or Canon to get a real "wildlife" setup). H...

FS: Pentax M42-K mount genuine adapter

mmm..im tempted by this, just a quick question as I have no idea about these things. I have a few old m42 lenses (I think thats correct they are part of a asahi spotmatic-f slr). Does that pin that stick out the back of these lenses cause a problem with the digital bodies, and what if any functions ...

new Boxed metz 58af 1 flash gun

Well since people seem to have a problem with me selling something that I own, and if they brought it and the shop ever came back to me it would be my problem to deal with nothing to do with anybody else, even if I did contact the company they clearly won't have a record of it now otherwise they wo...

WTB : Pentax K 35mm/3.5

Hi, thanks for quick reply. Yes I supposse the takumar and k lens might be similar, but i'm after K-lens, because i don't like to hassle with adapter. I used to have takumar 50/1.4 and genuine Pentax adapter as well....but even so i cannot obtain focus to infinity for some reason, that's why i'm lea...

WTB : Pentax K 35mm/3.5

The optical design of this lens remained unchanged from 1959 to 1979 according to this site "This was Pentax megaseller wideangle lens. It continued in different mountings until 1979 (K-Bayonet)" So any of the Pentax 35mm f/3.5's should give similar results with the SMC versions being slig...
