For Sale - Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 Di LD Macro (as new)
Due to non payment from a previous sale and no communication from the buyer (a forum member  !!), I'm re-listing this "virtually new" lens for sale. It's only two months old with all the original paperwork and box. The reason for the sale is I bought the DA*60-250 to replace it as it was s...

K10D kit & DA16-45
Any offers on the K10D/18-55? Will be in the UK - at some point in London, Macclesfield & Glasgow - over the next two weeks. Would like to avoid having to carry this to Sri Lanka (our next posting). Am inclined to keep the 16-45 as a back up lens. Though might be persuaded to sell this too at the...

WANTED: Pentax AF adapter 1,7x
I was keeping an eye out for one of these Pentax 1.7x TC's a while back but decided to give the Kenko 1.5x TC a try in the meantime. After trying it out over a weekend on my DA*300 I was impressed enough to put on hold a purchase of the Pentax one. Here's a shot taken with the DA*300 and Kenko TC,...

Pentax DA 18-250mm for sale
erm...how much? I'd be looking for £280 which includes the UV filter but not the polariser filter. The lens was bought from a fellow Pentax Uswer member back in April. Shots of the bridge, couple, Bowood and the Squirrel were taken with it.

Pentax DA 18-250mm for sale
I was considering a whole number of primes actually. Have just picked up a Pentax M 75-150mm F4 for £50 as I've read a number of reports on it and they all think its a great lens. so i may look at a whole range of fast manual focus primes. The 28mm I have takes some great sharp shots. No doubt I...

Macro
Have a look on e-bay. There are often old manual focus lenses on there which are optically every bit as good as their modern counterparts and about a third of the price ( or less). Manual focus is no handicap for macro shots. I think you'll find most people use manual focus anyway. As for manual ...

Macro
It depends what you want to take ;) You may find that an old manual focus 50mm f/1.7 or 50mm f/2 plus some extension tubes will do the job nicely. You can often find these in local camera shops going for a song! Matt

Macro
Hi I'm looking for a macro lense that I can use on a K20, does any one have any recommendations for a good one on a very tight budget. To get back to the point, you should be able to pick up a manaul focus 100mm Macro for far less than your budget from eBay. Go for one with a "A" on the aperture rin...

Macro
To get back to the point, you should be able to pick up a manaul focus 100mm Macro for far less than your budget from eBay. Go for one with a "A" on the aperture ring for most convenience in use. The SMC Pentax-A 100mm f4 would be ideal. The dental version is exactly the same with additional marking...

Wanted: 24/28mm SMC-A / Sigma Superwide II
I'm after a general prime lens for low light shots. The Sigma particularly appeals because of its semi macro ability, and reputed sharpness. (I would have loved to have gone for a 35mm DA Ltd Macro, but for the cost, and I have a film body to equip as well!) Not quite what you're asking for, but ...

Fotodiox PK to four thirds adapter (free or charity donation)
The m4/3 mount is 6mm narrower than regular 4/3 plus has half the back-focus distance, hence the two aren't directly compatible without an additional 4/3 -> m4/3 adapter :) R

Vivitar 24mm F2.8
Good it wasn't some "Budget Lens" manufacturer then, although I believe there were some budget Pentax lenses made by A.N. Othersaki may be they are good and all the magazine tests over the years were wrong and I've been buying the wrong lenses  Yep, you've been wrong all these years. The Vivita...

Vivitar 24mm F2.8
I have masses of lens tests going back to the seventies and never once has a budget lens approached the quality of camera makers lenses. The nearest were Series 1 and Tamron SP, but these weren't budget lenses. People who used these budget lenses in the past, bought camera maker manufactured lenses...
