Description
This weeks competition is inspired by a recent walk around Sheffield when I took some shots of buildings looking up at them rather than face on.

Look up covers any subject so long as the point of view is looking up at it, or them.

Be it towering buildings, small flowers or tall trees they are all welcome so long as they are shot from beneath.

The usual rules apply, Pentax or Samsung cameras only please.

Good luck!

Thank you all for your entries to this week’s competition, some great shots, and I had a real headache picking between my favourites.

I always love the different interpretations of the theme and that is one of the things that I enjoy about the competitions, so well done to everyone who entered.

As always however, there can only be one winner so congratulations go to:

Who says people do not fly by ArsenAl

Runners Up:
Look App by aliengrove
The bridge pillar by axelLuther

Sorry to be brief with my comments but I am not at home so needed to be as quick as possible this morning!

Winter Tree Tops by tyronnet2000
Really like this shot, neck cricking height, a real sense of scale and a pleasing subject.

On the wing by guy
This shot is clever, be it planned or not, I like the gull in the frame, the helicopter and the sun. Nice.

Sky Fall by Mowser
Brilliant use of the 3 paragliders and the tree tops gives the viewer a sense of height. Nice crisp colours too.

Cathedral Gold by bforbes
Beautiful colours, great sense of scale and height, brilliant.

Look App by aliengrove
Super framing, huge sense of height and scale, topped by an excellent conversion all just perfect.

Rob on the Roof by John Riley
Nice take on the theme, would rather Rob than me, like it.

Angel and admirer by davidtrout
Great composition, the person adds to the sense of scale, nice shot.

Prickle by dodge69

Fits the theme and yes you must have been low! I really like the shot very well framed and executed.

Beat of street by velimir
Different take on the theme, but I like this. Would like to have seen the view from the pushchair that would have been great!!

Sir Walter Scott Monument by nicesparky
I know the subject and really like the angle of the shot. Definitely makes the monument look like a huge space age rocket!

Nice capture, you get a great sense of the majesty here and I love that shaft of light.

Ovoid for Easter by Perspicador
I didn’t know what to make of this to begin with as I wasn’t too sure what I was looking at to be honest. It is an ovoid for Easter, and I assume that it is the moon, please correct me if I am wrong.

Nicely framed and executed shot, looks like the lower man is running on the bottom of your lens!
