Looking for pictures where the colour red forms a prominent, or at least an arresting, part of the image The subject matter is wide open- portraits, architecture, sport, nature, still life...... etc. Usual rules: pictures must be taken on Pentax cameras or closely related clones. This was taken with my KF in the first few days of purchasing, I needed a light weight lens to go to the Edinburgh Tattoo so chose my old full frame kit lens , it paid off

Thanks to all participants for the entries... all hit the brief so well and made it pleasurable to view and difficult for me to choose a winner!
Atmospheric Red by dewsburya is the winner as it was taken under challenging conditions and yet has so much detail, and a story behind it that I'd like to hear.
Red Coats and Banners by johnriley is first runner up.
