A good sky can make or break an image, so we always keep a weather eye out, so to speak for something more interesting than just a clear blue sky. That generally means clouds - so this week let's put clouds front and centre. I look forward to seeing your images of clouds as the dominant aspect of the image. Usual rules apply, image can have been taken at anytime but must have been with a Pentax / Ricoh camera or acceptable clone Good luck |

Oh dear,. Thank you for the win and your kind comments. A pity there were so few entries. I am out and about for the rest of the day with visiting family for the Easter weekend. Likely only post a new challenge this evening.

Yes..it will rain by gibis - Dramatic, moody and full of menace. A sky that seem to threaten rather than promise bad weather
Clouds over the river severn by reso - A very typical British scene, lush green vegetation, river and town all under a heavy leaden sky.
Incoming by Simonmac - The use of monochrome enhances the drama in this image. The ominous dark cloud to the left seems to suggest there is worse to come for Smithfield
Sunset Clouds by Noelcmn - Gorgeous colours showing us the beauty of clouds rather than the threat
All four images depict the drama of clouds giving rise to a range of emotions from fear to joy. For me one image stands out and that is Sunset Clouds by Noelcmn, an uplifting view of clouds.
So this weeks winner is Sunset Clouds by Noelcmn, and the other three tie for second spot.
