Newcastle's Roman Catholic Cathedral's stained glass window art includes some scenes of an industrial nature honouring Tyneside's proud history of ship and railway building, mining etc.

Beautiful image, Nigelk! Technically impressive, with a portrait, water droplets on the glass, and the landscape reflection all perfectly rendered with a great tonal balance, and a perfect artistic composition on top of all that.

Lots of great images from everyone. I liked MikeInDevon's naturalistic take on the topic. And I do love me some elegant urban decay, dewsburya.

Maybe it's just me, but I noticed some interesting pairings in the submissions. The abstract geometric grids from Simonmac and davidwozhere. The prismatic lights of davidtrout and Noelcmn. The tiny jewels of colour in a field of green, seen through small square panes, from gibis and EricD1306. Great minds think alike!
